The Role

As a founding engineer at Roe AI, you'll be instrumental in building the future of AI agent systems for unstructured data processing. You'll focus on advancing our core technologies:

• Policy and decisioning agents that understand complex compliance requirements
• Multimodal data extraction from diverse document types and formats
• Advanced classification systems for risk assessment
• Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) infrastructure that makes unstructured data queryable and production-ready

Working directly with our founding team, you'll architect scalable platforms, implement cutting-edge algorithms, and ship features that deliver measurable customer impact from day one.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong portfolio to demonstrate your impact
• Full-stack proficiency: React, Redux, Next.js on the frontend; Django, FastAPI, or similar on the backend
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Database expertise: experience with both SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Cloud platform experience: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Customer-focused mindset: exceptional communication skills and comfort with direct customer interaction
• Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
